Sam’s Club Offers Digital P&G Incentives
Sam’s Club is incentivizing digital orders of Procter & Gamble brands placed on samsclub.com for home delivery or Club Pickup, or those made in-club using the Scan & Go mobile application.
From June 20 to July 15, the warehouse chain is dangling a $25 eGift card with a one-time purchase of $100 worth of eligible SKUs from brands including Tide, Head & Shoulders, Bounty and Gillette. To redeem, shoppers submit a photo of their eligible receipt via email by July 18. The eGift cards are delivered via email following submission validation.
A June 22 email blast from Sam’s Club plugged the offer, highlighting select brands from six categories such as hair care, cleaning supplies, laundry and grooming. Each category linked to a different e-commerce shop containing relevant brands not limited to P&G. The email also linked to informational pages within samsclub.com for the Club Pickup service and Scan & Go app. A home page display ad spotlights the $25 incentive with support from similar leaderboard and carousel ads within the site’s “Shops & Promotions” section linking to a promotional page (clubgiftcardoffer.com).
The warehouse club chain also is dangling an additional $13 off select fabric care SKUs from P&G brands Tide, Bounce, Downy and Downy Unstopables in its latest Instant Savings booklet. Support for the offer has included a small “loads of savings” ad within the aforementioned email, a dedicated “Fabric Care” e-commerce shop, a display ad on samsclub.com and a separate, dedicated June 22 email.
