Cargo and Coca-Cola

By Dan Ochwat - 06/26/2018

Cargo, New York, a company that supplies rideshare drivers like Lyft and Uber with an in-car pantry of sorts from which to buy items with their mobile phones, has partnered with Coca-Cola Co. for a test in the Atlanta area. The Cargo pack harnesses to the armrest and faces the backseat passengers who then type in a code on the cover of the package to access and buy items over a mobile-optimized Cargo site or Cargo app. Drivers earn commission from the sales of products, such as candy, health bars, mints and now some Coca-Cola products such as Smartwater.
